Online

You can give quickly and easily by using our secure Debit or Credit Card and PayPal payment system, through our DONATE NOW button.  Gifts can be made through a single payment, or by scheduling multiple payments throughout the year (e.g. recurring monthly gifts). All online gifts go through Pachamama’s Path, our 501(c)(3) in the United States, and are tax-deductible in the United States.
Pachamama’s Path is enrolled in the PayPal Giving Fund and Grant Payments.

You can donate to Kusi Kawsay by check through Pachamama’s Path, our 501(c)(3) in the United States. Donations through Pachamama’s Path are tax-deductible in the United States. Please email us to let us know when you mail a donation by check.

Wire transfer

If you would like to wire your gift please contact us so we can provide you with wire transfer instructions for our Kusi Kawsay Association accounts in Peru (PEN, USD), our account in the United States through Pachamama’s Path (USD), and our account in Germany through IntiPunku (EUROS). When making a transfer please email us with details, including the name of the donor and the gift designation.

Stock

Donating gifts of appreciated securities that have been held for more than one year enables a donor to avoid all capital gains tax on the appreciated portion of the stock, qualify for tax deduction equal to the stock’s full fair market value and make a larger gift than might be otherwise possible.
All securities donated in the United States must be placed in Pachamama’s Path name prior to being sold; otherwise, you will be responsible for paying the capital gains tax. Also, please be sure to instruct your broker to contact Pachamama’s Path to let us know that your gift is being transferred. To make a gift of stock please contact us.

Matching gifts

Many corporations offer matching gift programs for employees and their families. Most programs match dollar for dollar, but there are some companies that match 2:1 and even 3:1. This is a great opportunity to increase your gift in support of Kusi Kawsay. To multiply your gift in this way, please contact your human resources office to inquire about the method to have your gift matched by your (or your partner’s) employer.

Give Back Website

Another way to help Kusi Kawsay—if you make on-line purchases—is through the Give Back website.  On-line stores there will donate between 3% and 7% of your purchase to the charity of your choice. Simply log onto the Give Back website, fill out your personal foundation information by selecting “Pachamama’s Path” as your charity of choice, and then shop from more than 400 merchants on their list.

Pledges

Pledges for gifts may be made over a longer period. Kusi Kawsay is cultivating deeper commitments with our donors to secure a sustainable future. We welcome you to be part of this long-term commitment and would love to hear from you to set up a plan, be it monthly or annual gifts.

Pachamama’s Path and IntiPunku are Kusi Kawsay’s sister organizations, and all donations made through them reach Kusi Kawsay.

In the United States we partner with Pachamama’s Path, an IRS Section 501(c)(3) public charity registered in the State of Florida, in such, your contributions to Pachamama’s Path are deductible under Section 170 of the IRS Code, any way of payment you choose to use (online, check, wire transfer).  We are also qualified to receive tax-deductible requests, devises, transfers or gifts under Sections 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.  Please contact your accountant for your specifics. Donations through Pachamama’s Path are tax-deductible in the United States for donations $250 and over.

In Germany we partner with Inti Punku,  receive a tax deduction for donations over 200 Euros. info@inti-punku.de
